Each year, members of our congregation get special gifts for the poor children of San Antonio Tlayacapan who are fed through Operation Compassion.
Here’s Carla’s report of the event:
We had the kids sit down, sang a few songs, then Santa came and told them in Spanish that we are celebrating Jesus’ birth. We gave them a bolsa of candy — the “elves” of La Ola handed those out. And then the families came forward to receive their gifts.

Bags of candy were distributed by the La Ola elves.

Santa gets the kids’ attention — but a few are focused on the bags of presents.

Happy with a new game!

Another happy kid!

More lovely elves. Rosie organized this gift-giving event.

Every family gets a bag of presents. Most wait to open them at home.
